Site Under Maintenance

This blog is currently being cleaned out as there has been some annoying and lewd pop-ups coming up. I don’t know how it got there and where I can find it to disable it. I’m sorry for those that have been offended by the pop-up. I have no intention of inserting any inappropriate content whatsoever on the blog. Will update this post as soon as the issue is resolved. For reports/complaints, please email techoloph@gmail.com.

Update: Okay so I deleted some scripts which may have been maliciously been hijacked to reroute to some sites. The pop-ups are hopefully now gone. If it ever does show up again, please do email me. (What you clicked? What page you were in?) Thanks!

iPod Touch 4th Generation Review and Photos

In this review, I’ll briefly outline the new features of the iPod Touch 4G and compare it to my old 2nd-generation iPod Touch. I also did some comparison shots of the exterior hardware. I bought the iPod Touch 4G last November 2010 so I had a very long time to play with this and this review will be based on my experience using it. So let’s get started.

Microsoft Touch Mouse Demo. Coming June 2011

Even if this is a late copy of the Magic Mouse, it sure looks more ergonomic. Notice the Expose-like feature?. If Logitech doesn’t come with anything better than this, this would be my best upgrade choice come June for $80.

Update: Okay..so I just pre-ordered mine on Amazon. Let’s see if I’ll continue on till June or cancel it for some reason :p

HP launching new phones and tablets running WebOS on February 9th?

Well here is the day that webOS users have been waiting for. HP just sent out mailers announcing a February 9th event that has a tag line of Think Big. Think Small. Think Beyond. Big = Palm Pad Tablet?, Small – New WebOS Phones?, Beyond – WebOS Printers perhaps?

I feel rooting for the unappreciated underdog that is WebOS. Even though it’s not officially out in the Philippines, I enjoy the user interface. Palm has been acquired by HP so you never know. HP is in many countries, one of which is the Philippines. But I don’t expect it that they would just look at how Microsoft alienated international users on the zune platform and devices, even 4 years after its release, it’s still nowhere to be found outside the US.

I may stick with it or might revert back to Android (with the beautiful Nexus S) basing on this announcement, but for the time being the Palm Pre Plus is it. (full review coming up)
