Hi Bryan don't worry it's not a physical tag or card that comes from the box, you can create a zune tag by visiting Zune.Net and registering there.
ReplyDeletehow come i can't update my zune device? i have updated my zune software to 3.0, i downloaded the patch, but when i tried connecting my device to the software to have it updated, it says, "You must update your zune before you can use it with the zune software. however, we can't perform the update right now. the server might be unavailable or there might be a problem with your network. Please make sure you are connected to the internet and try agian later"

ReplyDeleteYou will have to update the software first before updating the firmware of the zune.
ReplyDeletefirst time hearing your problem, try uninstalling the zune software, then install again while your zune is plugged in.

ReplyDeleteHere's what I did to fix my issue (same as yours)
*where it started*
After I installed the update my Zune program no longer would recognize my Zune. It said it needed an update, but it couldn't be done at this time.
After a half an hour of restarting the stupid vista crap computer, I decided to cave and check my firewall settings...
After I allowed the Zune software to access the internet (through the firewall settings), I restarted the Zune program, AND my Zune, and
YAAAAY
It updated!!!
...
...now I think it's updating a new games section...but I'm not sure... I'll check when my sycing is finished

ReplyDeleteAbout the Zune Wall charger.... you can use an ipod charger just replace the usb cord with your zune usb...you can buy a class a or b whatsoever...@ cdr king for 150 pesos...im using the same from cdr king for a month and its really working without any problems....try it guys...its cheap and its working...

i got a zune 30gig since 2007. i downloaded the software on my pc and been using it for years. recently, our technician reformat my pc and when i tried downloading the zune software again, i cant install it. i tried the ver. 1 which is included in the box but it says i need to upgrade my software. when i tried upgrading, the message always says the server unavailable. i had an account in zune and i can acess my account but i cannot install the ver. 3.1 software. can somebody help me?
ReplyDeleteThe 30gig zune has a bug on its clock,thats why it stops working because the 30 gig clock is set only for end of 2008..thats why its not working anymore..try to drain your battery and recharge it again,this will resets the zune 30..hope it work..

ReplyDeletebe sure to meet the requirement of the zune software. You might need to download some windows updates also. (though you should be regularly updating anyway, try Windows SP3) Just go straight to zune.net and download the newest version.

hey, my Zune 4Gb don't display anything when it is unplug to its usb cable to the computer. But when it's plug, you can browse it. Why is that so? My Batt is full btw.

are games and apps are not available on zune hd 16gb model? Im quite sad i dont have them....
ReplyDeleteApps and games are available for all versions of Zune HD's. Try setting your Windows regional settings to USA and your Live account to a US location. Goodluck!

ReplyDeletehi, what do you mean? the zune you buy in the US will work perfectly here in the Philippines. Access to the marketplace is just kind of limited.
