AKG K619 Headphones Review

The AKG K619 is a professional-grade headset that also sports in-line microphone and dedicated volume controls. The closed-back design helps to seal out exterior sounds and avoid the sounds coming from the headphones from leaking out.

For over 60 years, AKG Acoustics has been the leader in creating studio sound in headphones. We hold over 1,400 patents for our groundbreaking products; and two TECHNICAL GRAMMY Awards (2010, 2005) for sound innovation.- AKG

The headphone has a single cable located on one side, rather than both which lessens tangling and clutter when worn.

AKG K619 Specs

  • Design: Closed-back
  • Frequency range: 16Hz – 24kHz
  • Sensitivity: 115dB SPL/V
  • Input impedance: 32 ohms
  • Maximum input power: 2000mW
  • Net weight (without cable): 211g (7.4 oz)
  • Cable: 1.2m (3' 11") plus 1m (3' 3") extension cable included
  • Main connection: 3.5mm (1/8") hard, silver-plated jack plug

I find the hardware of premium quality and liked the full bass that the can produces. I also like the fact that  I can fold the headphones into a smaller frame fit for carrying around inside my bag. I really prefer on-ear headphones as they are more comfortable than in-ear ones which I find hard to wear. The K619 really is comfortable to wear for long periods .

The box includes the headphone, a free 3.5mm to 6.3mm jack adapter, extension cable and carrying bag.

The AKG K619 retails for Php5,990 and available at the following:
