The HTC Desire S is coming to the Philippines with a starting price of 25,990 pesos according to Yugatech.com. The HTC Desire S is the successor to the original HTC Desire. Notable specs are the following: HTC Sense UI, 1.1GB of internal storage, 768MB of RAM, 3.7-inch touch screen with 480 x 800 resolution, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, front camera, and an all new button-less design.
What is this with companies adding S to newer models? (We have Samsung Nexus S, Desire S, iPhone 3GS.) Of course S meaning Speed will be an obvious upgrade so why not name it HTC Desire 2? then the next can be HTC Desire 3 and so forth. Just me.
