Washington in the US is home to more than 2,300 alone and that more than 2,000 warheads are on high alert, and ready to launch on short notice, anytime, around the world. Fortunately, the graph shows a significant decline of stockpiles since the 1960’s.
I surely hope there won’t be any need to use these any time soon.
